This is a typical project for BDC Structural Engineering Ltd. We provided the piled foundation and structure design to convert a WW2 oil storage depot into a prestige development of 6 town houses built over a supermarket and parking area. The development presented many issues in the ground with contamination, and natural springs, as well as having high retaining walls on three sides. The ground floor was designed to be as open as possible to give the best use of space to the supermarket and parking area.
